About Annovia’s Endeavors
Community Services Inc.

Annovia’s Endeavors Community Services Inc. is a New York-based nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring dignity, stability, and hope to individuals and families in need.

We specialize in providing brand-new essential home furnishings—including bedroom sets, living room furniture, dinette sets, kitchen essentials, and household items—to:

  • Survivors of domestic violence

  • Families transitioning from shelters or homelessness

  • Low-income households

  • Young adults aging out of foster care

  • Veterans facing financial hardship

At Annovia’s Endeavors, we believe that a home should be a place of comfort, pride, and new beginnings—not a reminder of struggle.

That is why we are committed to providing new, not secondhand, items—ensuring every family we serve receives support with dignity.

With your help, a family doesn't just receive furniture_they receive a fresh start!

Francina Annovia McGriff

Founder & Executive Director

Francina Annovia McGriff is the Founder and Executive Director of Annovia’s Endeavors Community Services Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families transform housing into a true home through the provision of brand-new furniture and essential household items.

Built on compassion, dignity, and community impact, AECSI was founded from Francina’s deep belief that every person deserves not only shelter, but a safe, comfortable, and fully livable home environment.

Professional & Community Experience

Over the course of her career, Francina has worked with government agencies, educational research organizations, housing-related initiatives, disaster preparedness efforts, and community-based outreach programs. As an independent social research consultant for more than eight years, she contributed to projects involving vulnerable populations, housing stability, and public service systems — experiences that deepened her understanding of the challenges many individuals and families face while rebuilding their lives.

With a professional background rooted in public service, counseling, community advocacy, crisis response, and social research, Francina has spent years supporting individuals and families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Her work has consistently centered around helping others navigate hardship with dignity, stability, and hope.

Francina has remained actively involved in community-focused initiatives throughout Westchester County, supporting programs centered on youth mentorship, empowerment, education, and community engagement. As a member of the Mayor’s Women’s Advisory Board and a founding contributor to Yonkers Fashion Week, she has helped create opportunities that encourage leadership, creativity, confidence, and exposure to new possibilities for local youth and families.

LEADERSHIP & VISION

The inspiration behind AECSI was further strengthened through firsthand experiences assisting individuals transitioning from homelessness and housing instability. Witnessing the emotional impact that a fully furnished home can have on a person or family reinforced her commitment to creating an organization focused not simply on furniture, but on restoring comfort, pride, stability, and hope.

Through Annovia’s Endeavors Community Services Inc., Francina continues to advocate for individuals and families navigating some of life's most difficult transitions - working to ensure that every person served feels seen, supported, and reminded that a new beginning should still feel like home.
